I applied. To get in now, they need to be in the top 10% of their class, so they need to start trying to make good grades starting their freshman year in high school. If they can't get in on the first try, they can go to a jr. college and transfer in the second semester.

to get into this university i basically followed the recommended plan in high school. I also took Advance Placement courses in everything that i could. I maintianed a high rank so as to make it easier to get in to any university of my choice. Dedication and hard work in high school pays off.

I was top ten percent in my class which allowed for my automatic acceptance and really took the pressure off during application time!! Keep the grades up in high school for this perk, and to develop good study habits. The work won't help you, but the study skills are necessary.
SAT: 1170 Female
Join organizations!Jun 18 2003Other
Join organizations! If they don't have the organization you want find 10 people and create one yourself. The University will pay for it. I also recommend living in the dorm your first year to make friends.

If you live in Texas, strive to get inJun 16 2003Computer Engineering
If you live in Texas, strive to get in with the top 10% rule (or is it 25% now?), and even if you dont make top 10 or 25 percent, being close will definitly get you in. We have a big campus so we have plenty of room for new students. Score well on your SAT,GPA, and have at least one or two extra curricular activities in high school and you should be fine. If you dont get accepted right away just try again later after some college.
