Well, I transferred in with "the biggest transfer poolOct 02 2008Computer Science
Well, I transferred in with "the biggest transfer pool yet" (which seems to happen each year), but with a decent SAT/ACT (not talking 1400s+), proof that you took the difficult classes in high school (AP/IB), and a few nice-looking extracurricular things going on (volunteering, work experience), it shouldn't be a problem.

However, this past acceptance class brought in way too many freshmen... there are still ~200 forced triples on campus. Don't know if this will affect future applications!
ACT: 28 SAT: 1340 Male

I had a crappy SAT score and only aJun 26 2008Economics
I had a crappy SAT score and only a 89 average out of high school, getting into the engineering school is easy. Get in that way and then do well your first semester and transfer into whatever school you'd like.
SAT: 1160 Male
Literally, I had JUST received my AMay 04 2008Psychology
Literally, I had JUST received my A.S. in liberal arts from Monroe Community College (Rochester, NY). I applied in late May/early June. My SAT score was a 1050. Within 2 weeks of applying, they notified me to let me know that I was accepted. In my opinion, anyone with a HS gpa of 3.25, or transfers with a GPA of 3.0(mine was 3.05), have a pretty good shot at getting in.
SAT: 1050 Male
In high school I had GPA 2Mar 25 2008Unknown
In high school I had GPA 2.8 SAT 1160, but I also attended Governor's School for the Performing arts, "Job Shadowed" with the Virginia Beach Municipal Center for 40 hours, Interned with a ton of local judges for my junior and senior year, and i taught vietnamese people how to speak english. Also my essay was "ballin" Not to hard to get into if you are an active kid.
I was an A- student in high-school with aJan 08 2008Electrical Engineering
I was an A- student in high-school with a fair amount of Extracurricular and some college level class experience, but certainly nothing notable. Average SATs, good grades, some extra-curricular and you should be good. Make sure to write a good essay. Nowadays they could potentially serve as the only deciding factor in applying to almost any college.
SAT: 1720 Male
