I was super involved. I was Drum Major, swim team captain, school record holder in track, Vice President of Student council, NHS etc. I did a lot. I also succeeded in my classes by acheiving a 3.9. I was 15th in my class, and got a 1300 on my SATs. I really had my goals in order. If you want to be a journalist, or be involved in communications at all this is THE school to go to. It's tough to get in but applying early is the key.

If you are interested in Syracuse, make sure you try to get involved in a lot of extracurricular activities. Also making an appointment to have an interview really helps because the university will get to know you as an individual instead of just another application.
