I didn't really do anything special to get hereMar 31 2003Engineering Department
I didn't really do anything special to get here. In high school my grades were poor during frosh and soph year. Junior and senior year I picked up but not because I was worried about school. I went from a low C average freshman year to straight A's by senior. Still my gpa was low. I got a decently high score for SATs and that was probably the booster.
SAT: 1300 Male

As far as I know, if you live in New Jersey and have at least a 3.0 and above... you should have no problem getting in. I screwed up the latter half of my senior year... things went gradually downhill from the last part of me junior year to the time I graduated. I still got in though. I think this was due to the fact that my overall GPA was good.

Out-of-state standards are higher, from what I've seen from people that I know who go here from out of state. You have a do a bit better... but not by much... I don't think. Most of my out-of-state friends had at least a B average in high school.

So basically... get over a 3.0 and at least over 1000 on your SATs. Don't take classes that are TOO easy.
