Have a pulse. Actually, OSU has been getting steadily more competitive thanks to our #1 rated presidents, Gordon Gee, and it is not the shoe-in it used to be - even for Ohio natives. If you have average test scores, you probably would need to have a 3.3-5 GPA to have a safe bet of getting in here. I had really high test scores and a GPA of 3.0 and I got in after being deferred.

Getting in is easy. Make sure you write a good essay and the SOP should be good too. They have a lot of requirements. Even after you get admission you will get sick of pre-reqs. English and Math Placement are easy. Math placement is online so you can have somebody do it for you ;-)
