ODU is pretty easy to get into if you don't have terrible grades, but the might make it tougher in coming years (and more expensive) because the school is getting a reputation (mostly because of basketball and their MAGLEV)

Just submit an application- they accept nearly anyone. Be sure you save a lot of money for all their extra fees though. They nickel & dime students to death at the start of each semester with transportation fees, student health fees, parking decals (yes, in addition to the transportation fee), lab fees, and a new 'general fee', in addition to newly inflated tuition fees. I may have even missed a fee or two in the list... On the bright side, it doesn't cost much to apply.

I got in with a 3.2 GPA, and 1200 on my SAT, not bad in my opinion. I think that would be like an average, so shoot for that. Also, I had a recommendation letter from an awesome teacher, I can imagine that helped alot. I dont know if it helped, but I listed myself as Asian/Pacific Islander even though im a half breed. (usa). Ummm, basically, the average student who takes some decent classes throughtout high school has a pretty good chance of getting in.
