I got waitlisted so I said yes to another schoolJun 29 2006Nursing
I got waitlisted so I said yes to another school. Weeks later I recieved an e-mail saying that I had gotten off the waiting list. There was no phone call or letter, just an e-mail. I actually mistook it for SPAM and deleted it before realizing that I should read it! They gave me two days to decide if I want to go to NU. I made the right decision because I love being at Northeastern. Just because you get waitlisted doesn't mean you won't go there!
SAT: 1120 Female

NU has substantially increased in competitiveness with the increased publicizing of our renowned Cooperative Education program. For anyone looking to attend: just do the best you can in High School, decide upon your general life goals and start brainstorming how you plan to acheive those goals.

This year Northeastern received 6500 EA apps out of a total of 26,000 applicants. There are only 2800 available seats, so getting in is getting to be super competitive. My advice is to get your application in as early as possible and be sure to express a strong interest in the school.
