I had a two letters of recommendation from teachersJan 17 2010Communications
I had a two letters of recommendation from teachers that I did well in applied myself fully. I also wrote a very creative personal essay to Marist for my application that I thought was outside the box. Make sure you work hard to achieve a good SAT score and ACT that falls under Marist's acceptability.
ACT: 24 SAT: 1540 Female
I applied using the CommonAppJan 17 2010Biology
I applied using the CommonApp. I don't feel like a didn't anything special when I applied. The only thing I would recommend is to be sincere when filling out the "Why do you want to attend Marist College?". You want to make the best impression you can in this supplement to really get the admissions board to take you seriously about accepting you.
ACT: 27 Female
I didn't do anything out of the ordinary to get inJan 17 2010Biology
I didn't do anything out of the ordinary to get in. I applied online using the CommonApp like everyone else. I just made sure that when I was filling out the supplement which asked, "Why do you want to come to Mairst?" that I put my best foot forward to show them that I was serious about attending this school.
ACT: 27 Female
I recommend students challenge themselves with AJan 15 2010Undecided
I recommend students challenge themselves with A.P. courses in high school because then you learn time management skills before college. Then the college work load won't be so scary. Also I suggest taking part in a lot of extra curricular activities to make up for average grades. Do something to make you stand out from other applications whether it is a great letter of recommendation, essay, or SAT scores.
