Respectful SATsFeb 04 2010Psychology
Respectful SATs. Good GPA. Vast amount of extracurricular activities. And a varsity sport that got me recruited.

I was really involved during high school, getting involvedFeb 03 2010Communications
I was really involved during high school, getting involved with as many extra curriculars as I could and holding leadership positions in some of them as well. Also I kept with a pretty full schedule my senior year which I believe showed that I was dedicated and prepared to take on the work load as a college student. Other things I would recommend is coming to visit the school or staying in touch with an admission counselor because it shows the amount of interest you have in the school and that you are serious about your application.

I did not have much trouble getting into MaristFeb 01 2010English
I did not have much trouble getting into Marist. There's no secret for gaining admission; you just have to have good grades, good test scores, and participate in meaningful activities. If you are lacking in one of these areas, perhaps schedule an interview to convince the admissions department that you are hard-working, interesting, and deserving of admittance.

I did well on SATs and had decent grades,Jan 28 2010Psychology
I did well on SATs and had decent grades, but for Marist, it's all about the resume. What they really want are students who have gotten involved and are going to get involved and take leadership roles on campus: someone who is going to start their own club or really make something happen.
