I had strong SAT scores and strong GPANov 24 2008Nursing
I had strong SAT scores and strong GPA. This school is not as easy to get into as some web-sites suggest. My friend had a 1200, good grades in high school, and could not get in here. He did not have a lot of extracurricular but a decent GPA. Still didn't help. He didn't get into GMU either. I picked JMU over UVA.

I worked very hard in high school to keep my grades above 3.4, studied for ACT and SAT, participated in volunteer work, extracurricular activities, and summer programs such as NSLC and Girl's State.
What really made me want to go to JMU was the atmosphere on campus. Talking with JMU students and observing them around campus, I knew it was the right place for me.
