I did well in High School and was very active, the typical well rounded student... My SAT scores were not all that great but I feel that my essay and letters of reccomendation were a big help. The school will read EVERYTHING that you send them with your application. If you show an interest in Hofstra, then they will show one back. Come for the day and attend classes or have lunch (call admissions and set up a Hofstra UpClose). Go to the information session and tour and speak with the admissions counselors. The more you do the more the University will remember you.
