As GW moves up in the rankings they focusApr 18 2012Economics
As GW moves up in the rankings they focus more and more on numbers, but if you are a well balanced person who writes well and makes it known that you will utilize being in DC you should have a good shoot provided you're numbers match up with the average numbers provided to college board.
I was on the track team for 2 yearsApr 10 2012Electrical Engineering
I was on the track team for 2 years. I was in student council 3 years. NHS, Helping Hands Club. Basically, GW is very community-service oriented in their image. In your essay I would suggest mentioning how you would like to continue community service here. I did not interview nor did I even visit the campus and I applied regular decision (RD). Personally, I was a unique applicant in that I have three patents and so it was clear to the university I wanted to go to the law school here as well as their IP program is top-notch so they figured I would be a good fit.
SAT: 1900 Male
It's not completely difficult to get intoDec 25 2011Finance
It's not completely difficult to get into. Our acceptance rate is around 31%. Make sure you show them you want to go there. Good stats don't always guarantee acceptance. People have been rejected with 2000+ SATs over those with 1900s, or sometimes even less, because they showed genuine interest. Don't write a generic why GW essay. There are plenty of good schools in DC. They want to know why you specifically chose this one
SAT: 1970 Female
I applied ED, and got inDec 17 2011History/Histories (art history/etc.)
I applied ED, and got in. If students want to get in, applying ED does help. Visiting and interviewing too.
ACT: 30 Female
Interviewing is apparently really important, but I didn't doDec 14 2011Undecided
Interviewing is apparently really important, but I didn't do it. If you want to get into the Honors Program, apply when you apply to the school. You can't do it after you get in which is kind of annoying.
SAT: 2040 Female
