Talk to the admission peopleAug 08 2006Mechanical Engineering
Talk to the admission people. They're very nice. Just make sure you visit Kettering and see if Flint is ok with you.
SAT: 1220 Male
Get involved in as many visits as you canApr 18 2006Engineering Department
Get involved in as many visits as you can and apply for as many scholarships as you can, I think incoming freshmen are at $27,000 a year.
ACT: 27 Male
It's not that hard, a 3Mar 16 2006Mechanical Engineering
It's not that hard, a 3.0 and a 23 on your act with some other B.S. thrown in (community service, clubs, etc) you won't have a problem, they have lowered their standards so it could even by eaisier now.
ACT: 28 Male
Don't slack off in high school and you shouldFeb 18 2006Industrial Operations Engineering
Don't slack off in high school and you should be fine. I had a 3.45 graduating high school and I was involved in a lot of clubs and activities. That helped me get in and obtain a scholarship from Kettering. Basically, don't be dumb and try to get as much financial aid as possible-you'll need it.
ACT: 27 SAT: 1180 Female
Getting in was easier than I expectedJan 28 2006Mechanical Engineering
Getting in was easier than I expected. I suppose my good science and math scores helped. Taking at least pre-calculus in highschool is strongly suggested, because having to start with it at kettering would put you behind a term.
