I showed the school that I work hard andApr 18 2011Undecided
I showed the school that I work hard and am dedicated to doing a good job. Kettering has strict standards and the whole school is geared towards the student and rewards the students who do more than average work. I suggest that any prospective student does well in school and gets ready to prepare for the rest of their life. Kettering gives you both theoretical and practical knowledge of your degree; which, is invaluable in the workplace.
ACT: 28 Male
I sent them my name on a piece of paperApr 04 2011Mechanical Engineering
I sent them my name on a piece of paper. They were desperate to get half as many students as the year before. Assuming people actually want to go here, I recommend you detach yourselves from your friends, learn to like dungeons and dragons (assuming you don't already), make studying your #1 priority, and buy a bulletproof vest.
ACT: 29 SAT: 1920 Male
I literally did nothingFeb 21 2011Computer Science
I literally did nothing. All i did was apply. Its not hard to get in at all, every one here is completely dumb anyway. Stupid people fit right in way easier than the alpha-dorks Kettering said it was looking for.
ACT: 29 Male
The application process was very easy - free onlineSep 16 2010Physics
The application process was very easy - free online and very fast. They usually can get you a decision right away. To prepare for Kettering I took AP classes throughout high school and lots of science in math - those are a must.

The best way to decide if you like it is to come visit. Talk to professors and students and decide for yourself.
ACT: 24 Female

The real question is what did they do toAug 24 2010Engineering Department
The real question is what did they do to get me in? They will take in a kid with down syndrome as long as it means they get his 30k per year tuition.
